Desert Blind & Handicapped Inc. has provided a vital service for me for several years. They provide transportation to doctors offices, grocery stores, and all of my transportation needs. Because of the triple digit heat in the summer months, other transportation companies are not available to me because they can only provide curb side service. Because of my illness I cannot wait for the others in the heat. DB&H comes to my door and the drivers assist me with what ever I need. They are responsible, affordable, professional, and courteous. They are the best transportation company in the Coachella Valley. Leah Phillips

I am a working professional. I lost my driving ability due to a degenerating eye condition causing legal blindness. I have enough usable sight to continue working. It was an answer to my prayers that I was told about Desert Blind and Handicapped. Using their services I am able to get a ride to and from work every day; with additional stops as needed for grocery or medical appointments. Their services have allowed me to maintain my independence and feel confident about my life. There are very few other options in the city and those come with much inconvenience. The staff and drivers at DBH are professional at what they do; and they show their sincere compassion in every action. They maintain their vehicles in excellent and clean condition. I'm sure they would offer services to a wider area and to more people if they were to ever receive more donations. We are very very blessed to have them at all.
