BRIEF: Local leaders to hold small business town hall meeting in Clovis

Jan. 28--State Sen. Tom Berryhill, R-Twain Harte, and Assembly Republican Leader Kristin Olsen of Modesto will hold a town hall meeting Feb. 5 at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Auditorium to help small-business owners avoid lawsuits due to noncompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The meeting will include a panel of experts on lawsuit abuse and will be moderated by Fresno County Supervisor Debbie Poochigian. It will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Berryhill and Olsen authored Assembly Bill 54, which they say will help small businesses stay open and employ people while they fix any Americans with Disabilities Act compliance issues.
